By Teddy was founded on a simple belief: dogs deserve the same level of style, comfort and quality in their everyday essentials as we expect from our own.
We create thoughtfully designed products for modern life with your dog. Pieces that feel good to use, beautiful to live with and made for all the moments you share together.
It Started With Teddy
The idea for By Teddy began when our founders, Delphi and David, were preparing to welcome their puppy, Theodore.
Like most first-time dog owners, they started putting together a list of everything he would need. But the more they searched, the harder it became to find products that felt right.
There were plenty of bright colours, novelty prints and cartoon-covered accessories. At the other end of the spectrum were practical products that felt bulky, clunky and purely functional.
Very little reflected the way they wanted to live with Teddy.
We Noticed Something Was Missing
Our dogs are part of our homes, our routines and our plans. They come with us for morning coffees, weekends away, long walks and slow Sundays on the sofa.
Yet so many of the products designed for them felt disconnected from the rest of everyday life.
We wanted dog essentials that could sit naturally within a considered home and wardrobe — without compromising on comfort, practicality or durability.
So, we decided to create them ourselves.

We pay close attention to the details: the shape of a product, how it feels, how it works and how it fits into your day.
For us, good design should never be style over substance. It should be functional by default and beautiful by necessity.
